Welcome to Old Road West Surgery

Please note the surgery is migrating its IT system to EMIS and this will be causing some technical disruption. Unfortunately the Electronic Prescription Service is also down until Tuesday 27th October and there will be delays in getting repeat prescriptions. If any scripts are urgent please request for a paper copy to collect from reception.

This year please ensure that you complete your vaccinations to protect yourself against the winter flu.

Please note that flu vaccination for people who are aged 50 to 64 who are not in an at risk group will not be available until November at the earliest, and then only if there is sufficient vaccine. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.

Important Information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Apologies but due to the Coronavirus, the surgery is now placing a contingency plan to only allow telephone consultations unless necessary to come in. Reception staff or a clinician will ask you about your symptoms, if you have recently travelled and who you may have come into contact with over the past 14 days. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and we will re-instate normal service once this crisis is over. PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP AT THE SURGERY.
